Announcements Sunday April 13, 2025
1. Due to the increase in COVID cases, we encourage the use of masks inside the church. We have provided masks for the congregation; they are located on the table in the coat room. Thank you.
2. THERE IS “NO WALKING & TALKING DURING PRAYER & SCRIPTURE READING.” ALSO, there is no EATING in the sanctuary. EATING is only permissible in the fellowship hall.
3. Please call the CHURCH OFFICE if you have a loss in your family or illness that you want to report. The church office will share this information with the congregation including the pastor. We appreciate your assistance in this matter.
4. Steadfast Baptist Church will be having their 14th Church Anniversary on April 27th @ 3:30 pm. They are located at 20499 Ohio St. Pastor is asking everyone to please join him at our sister church as he ministers to celebrate their church anniversary.
5. Remember the Kitchen Ministry will serve breakfast every first and third Sunday in the month from 9:00 to 9:45 AM. We welcome any monetary contributions to support the costs.

7. Signups for the Mother’s Day Brunch (on Saturday, May 10th from 10a to 2p) continue after service. Brunch fee is $30 per person. Brunch includes Entertainment, food and fun! If you would like to pay tribute through pictures of deceased mothers, aunts, grandmothers during Mother's Day Brunch, please submit your photos to Sis. Krista Barber by April 30th. Your original photos will be returned to you unscathed. Memorials for our deceased loved ones will be scrolled on Easter Sunday. We have a list from 2024. If you would like to verify your submission or add to the list, please stop in the Fellowship Hall after service. Thank you, the Membership Committee.
8. It’s been five years since the COVID-19 virus was declared a pandemic. Yet Covid remain an ongoing public health crisis disproportionately affecting Black people and other underserved communities. This is a reminder of what we can do to stay safe. Stay up to date on vaccines, wear a mask indoors and in crowed areas, and wash your hands frequently.
9. Youth Day is June 8th this year. This year’s theme is “Get Connected, Stay Connected with Christ”. We will start taking names for our annual T-Shirt drive which will run from Sunday April 13th UNTIL Sunday May 4th. This will be a hard date, and we ask for your assistance in this matter because we do not want T-Shirts being processed too late. Please support the Youth Day T-Shirt drive. More info. to come. 10. CFL Pantry is open on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9am-12 noon. The Pantry distribution is open to both CFL members and the community. If you or someone you know needs food, please come out. First come, First serve.
11. The Usher Board will be having usher board rehearsal on April 26 @ 12noon in the fellowship hall for Adult and Youth Usher’s, anyone wishing to join the usher board please come out. Thank you, Sis. Donna Young.

To locate the group after entering the building, go up the ramp through the fellowship hall to the exit door, go through hallway to the room located at the end of the hall.
